How to Steep and Reuse a Tea Bag (Up to 3 Times)
1. Heat Water:
Bring fresh, clean water to a boil. Let it cool slightly if using green or white tea (to around 160–185°F / 70–85°C), or use boiling water for black or herbal teas.
2. Steep the Tea Bag:
Place the tea bag in your cup.
Pour hot water over it.
Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength and the type of tea.
3. Remove the Tea Bag:
Use a spoon to lift it out gently.
Do not squeeze—this can release bitterness.
4. Dry the Tea Bag for Reuse:
Place the used tea bag on a small plate or a piece of clean paper towel.
Let it air-dry completely to prevent mold.
Store in a dry, cool place (or cover and refrigerate if reusing within a day).
5. Reuse Up to 3 Times:
You can steep the same tea bag up to 3 times, but expect a lighter flavor with each use.
